Marie Ekeland joins Elaia as an Investment Manager

The Elaia Partners management team is delighted to announce the appointment of Marie Ekeland as Investment Manager. Marie Ekeland will bring significant venture capital experience and technical expertise to the team.
Marie started at JP Morgan investment bank in the IT team, working in New York on the development of a worldwide front-office system, and then, back in Paris, on the management of its high-level support team. She moved to CPR Private Equity in 2000 and has been acting as a VC within the Crédit Agricole group since then, focusing more specifically on the IT sector. She was responsible for over a dozen investments, among them Meiosys (acquired by IBM in June 2005), Ornis or IdealX.
Alluding to her recent appointment, Xavier Lazarus, partner at Elaia, said : “I have known Marie for a long time, having worked with her at CPR Private Equity. She will bring on board a great value thanks to her technological expertise and relevant track record”.
